Travelling from Calais to Benodet
Journey Time: 8 Hours approx
Distance: 474 miles
From Calais join the A16 Motorway and travel for 64 miles in the direction of Le Harve.
Exit the motorway on the A28 and travel for 46 miles in the direction of Abbeville.
You then join the A29 for 64 miles continuing in the direction of Le Harve, crossing Pont de Normandie after about 54 miles.
Where the A29 meets the A13 turn off and travel along the A13 for 31 miles heading towards Caen.
On reaching Caen follow sign for Cherbourg and Mont St. Michel. Travalling in the direction of Avranches on A84.
On reaching Avranches follow signs to Rennes still on the A84.
Near Rennes look for signs to Brest and Lorient. Following signs to Lorient on the N24 for approximately 40 miles.
Approaching Lorient follow signs for Quimper and Brest travelling along the N165.
On approaching, ignore first turn off sign to Benodet and drive on until you see sign for ”QUIMPER SUD,CENTRE VILLE” Leave at this exit and follow sign to Quimper. At first roundabout pick up sign to BENODET N365.
After next roundabout this will bring you to D34 signed Benodet (watch for McDonalds at bottom of hill). Pass in front of McDonalds and follow Benodet sign right. After about 8 miles your campsite will be on your left just after the signs to “PONT L,ABBE”
