Travelling from Cherbourg to Quimper

Distance: 310 miles

Leaving the ferryport look for signs to "Caen". This will take you out of Cherbourg and onto expressway N13.

Follow N13 towards Caen & St. Lo and Carentan for approx. 30 miles.

Shortly after passing turn off to Carentan, still on the N13, look for sign to "St. Lo" and turn off. You will now be on the N174 to St.Lo. Follow for approx. 15 miles and drive into town and pick up signs for "Rennes & Mont St. Michel & St. Malo".

This will take you to D999 towards "Avranches".

Near Rennes look for signs to Brest and Lorient. Following signs to Lorient on the N24 for approximately 40 miles.

Approaching Lorient follow signs for Quimper and Brest travelling along the N165.

On approaching, ignore first turn off sign to Benodet and drive on until you see sign for ”QUIMPER SUD,CENTRE VILLE” Leave at this exit and follow sign to Quimper. At first roundabout pick up sign to BENODET and PONT L'ABBE N365.

After next roundabout this will bring you to D34 signed right to PONT L'ABBE (watch for McDonalds at bottom of hill).

At this roundabout follow sign right to “PONT L'ABBE.” Almost immediately you will see sign for “Pratt Maria” & “CAMPING LANNIRON” on right. Follow up hill, then look for a LANNIRON sign again, across road and to your left. A short time after these camping signs will lead to a right turn down a wooded road. This road will lead you to the reception area.
